My dog has the ideal life. Every day, he gets to play and eat and take walks. And when he’s tired, he gets to laze on the couch and bask in the sunshine. This is actually how Bear spends most of his day (here, or in a lap)…
Oh, every now and then something will attract his attention outside…
And then he’ll look at me imploringly in the hopes that I’ll let him run outside to chase down the neighbor’s dog…
But, he’s easily distracted (excuse my extremely pale hand!)…
And eventually, he goes back to his previous near-vegetative state…
If only we all could have more days of such idle bliss 🙂

I love westies. That’s the type of dog I had while growing up. Now I miss my little Westie, Ceili… she’s at my parents house. I’m going home to visit them this weekend and I can’t wait to see her!
