I Love My Family

In just a few hours I’ll be heading to the airport to pick up my mom and one of my younger sisters. I am so excited to see them! I haven’t been able to see anyone from my side of the family in over a year, so this is a big deal for me. Their flight gets in just before 1pm, and I have lots of fun things planned for this week, like:
They’ll be driving back with us to Indiana (where they’re from) on Friday. Yikes – I cannot believe that we are moving in just 5 days! I have basically all of the packing done (thanks largely to Chris, who was a huge help after my mini-meltdown) and all we will need to do is load up the truck and pack some last minute odds-and-ends. I’m really grateful that I have such a wonderful family who’s willing to fly out here and help us with the move, including driving over 15 1/2 hours all in one day. Gulp. Man, do I owe them!

I’ll be sure to take lots of pictures of our adventures and will probably post a few sometime this week. For the most part, however, I’ll be MIA till we get to Indiana. Have a great week, everyone!

  9. I lived in Newport for a few years and I loved it! I was young and didn't do any of the touristy things, but I went back a couple summers ago and toured all the mansions and did the Cliff Walk, it was so much fun!

  10. Sounds like such a fun week with your family! I've always wanted to go to Martha's Vineyard and I can't wait to see pictures!
