My mom sent me a recipe the other day called “Peanut Butter Candy Cake”. It is a cake with a base of sugar, butter, flour, oatmeal, baking powder & soda, eggs, and vanilla. You sprinkle chopped up Reese’s Cups over the top. Once it is done baking, you cover it with homemade chocolate frosting. Is your mouth watering yet?

I definitely think that I like baking more than I like cooking. Probably because everyone loves baked goods like breads, cakes, cookies, & puddings, but not everyone loves casserole, meatloaf, roasts, or other “cooked” meals. It also helps that Chris loves the stuff that I bake 🙂
