Busy, Packing, Travel, Vacation

So Much To Do

So we’re leaving for the airport tomorrow morning at 10:30 for our week-long vacation, and I am not ready AT ALL! I have done no packing, no ironing (yes, I do have some stuff that needs to be ironed), I need to clean the house, sew up a torn seam in one of the shirts I want to bring, buy some thread and a needle, drop off packages at the Post Office, and go to the library. Oh, and check-in for the flight online. We’re leaving Bear at his favorite play-place for the week, so that at least is taken care of, along with our mail-forwarding – whew.

I need to clean the house because our realtor said that she might show it while we’re out. My desk looks like a disaster area – papers, envelopes, pens and pencils… I need to just bring a big garbage bag up there and throw stuff away.

I really hope that I don’t forget to bring my camera. I’ve already asked Chris to help me remember, but I can just see myself going off without it. That would not make me happy. So, cross your fingers and hope that I remember to pack it in my suitcase. I’m very glad that I requested to use an hour of comp-time today so that I can leave work at 3 instead of 4 o’clock. I think that extra hour will really help.

Alright, I’ve gotta get going – have a happy Friday, everyone 🙂
