Here’s what happens when you’ve got too much on your mind:
Yeah, my handheld blender is not supposed to look like that. I made another batch of applesauce in the crockpot and was waiting for it to finish. For some reason, it went longer than usual and I was in a hurry. Once it finally clicked over to the “done” setting, I grabbed the blender and started to blend those apples into sauce instead of waiting for it to cool a bit {like I normally do}. All was well, until I lifted the blender out of the pot…
Apparently, hot applesauce is somewhat like molten lava. Learned my lesson.
Now, I need to find a new handheld blender…
Ha ha – one time, I forgot about a spoon in a soup pot… when I remembered, a big chunk of the spoon was just missing!
Oh no!! Bummer. I did that once with some tupperware. Stank to high heaven!!
Oops! Glad I’m not the only one that does stuff like that. I just recently bent my spatula while making dinner last week, lol.
oh no! who knew hot applesauce was that hot! I need to get a handheld blender for soups and to puree baby food for when Brynley gets a bit older
You don’t need a new one…just heat it back up and bend it into the correct shape then plunge it into ice water to “flash freeze” it. 🙂
