My friend J tagged me in this on Facebook a few weeks back.  I figured it was time that I got around to answering her 🙂
  1. What bill do you hate paying the most – Whichever one of the credit card bills is highest that month
  2. Where was the last place you had a romantic dinner – A restaurant here in town.  Chris took me there after work one day, and I was totally not dressed appropriately (still in scrubs!).  To make things worse, 2 of his colleagues were having drinks at the bar, so of course the first time they meet me I’m straight from the hospital.  Yikes.
  3. What do you really want to be doing right now – Taking a nap
  4. How many colleges did you attend – Two schools: Purdue University (I have 2 degrees from here) and Ball State University (this was in-between the 1st and 2nd Purdue degree, when I was going to grad school to be a psychologist and before I had decided to be a nurse)
  5. Why did you choose the shirt that you have on right now – It’s my workout shirt, and I just worked out.  Seemed to make sense!
  6. What are your thoughts on gas prices – I’m thankful that they’ve come down, and that Chris and I both have less than a 2 mile drive to our jobs
  7. First thought when the alarm went off this morning – Ugh.
  8. Last thought before going to sleep last night – Chris needs to have his septum fixed so that he’ll stop snoring 🙂
  9. Do you miss being a child – Yes and no.  I miss the carefree attitude and the lack of responsibility, but I love the fact that I’m married, that I have a great job, and that I get to make my own decisions.
  10. What errand/chore do you despise – Vaccuuming.
  11. Get up early or sleep in – Get up early if I’m working, sleep in if I’m not.
  12. Have you found real love yet – Oh yes 🙂
  13. Favorite lunch meat – Not a huge fan of lunch meat.  Too processed.
  14. What do you get every time you to WalMart – Peach water.
  15. Beach or lake – Well, lakes usually have beaches, so I’m assuming this question is about “oceans vs lakes”.  I would say that I prefer the ocean, but that Glen Lake in Glen Arbor, MI is gorgeous.
  16. Do you think that marriage is an oudated ritual – Nope.
  17. “Sopranos” or “Desperate Housewives” – Don’t watch either one.
  18. What famous person would you like to have dinner with – Barack and Michelle Obama.  I’d have a lot to discuss.
  19. Have you ever had to use a fire extinguisher for its intended purpose – No, but I came close once.  I ended up dumping flour on the fire instead (it was a grease fire started by my brother’s lovely roommate).
  20. Ring tone – I don’t know.  Something generic.
  21. Strangest place that you have ever brushed your teeth – Hmm.  This isn’t really strange, but I have brushed my teeth in numerous campgrounds in quite a few different states.  I liked J’s answer: “chicken coop” (you’re going to have to explain that one!)
  22. Somewhere in CA you’ve never been and would like to go to – Sonoma.
  23. Do you go to church – Yes…
  24. At this point in your live would rather start a new career or a new relationship – Neither, but if I could choose “new friendship”, then that’s what I’d pick.
  25. How old are you – in my 20s
  26. Who’s your “go-to” person – Chris
  27. Are you where you want to be in life – Now that’s a question with a loooong answer
  28. Growing up, what were your favorite cartoons – Hmmm, I liked lots of them, but I don’t really remember the names
  29. What about you do you think has changed the most since you were a child – I’m more outspoken now, more outgoing.  People can’t believe me when I tell them that I was voted quietest in my class.
  30. Looking back, was high school the best years of your life – High school was great and a lot of fun, but there’s no way that they were the best years.  My life keeps getting better and better as time goes by 🙂
  31. Are there times you still feel like a kid – Oh, yeah.  Whenever I make a stupid mistake.
  32. Do you have a pager – Nope
  33. Where was the hangout spot when you were a teenager – Friends’ houses
  34. Were you the type of kid you’d want your children to hang out with – Yes
  35. Who do you think impacted your life the most – Chris and my parents
  36. Was there a teacher or authority figure that stood out for you – I’m not really sure what this question is asking.  If you’re asking if there’s any one adult during my formative years who stands out, I’d have to say it was my parents.
  37. What is the scariest think that has happened to you as an adult – Making the decision to quit grad school and go into a 14 month accelerated BSN program.  That was tough.  However, the most significant decision I had to make was marrying Chris.  That wasn’t scary, though 🙂
