I had a random, odd desire to share the top shelf of my DVD case with you. Here it is, in all it’s glory…

- Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World’s End (Chris’ choice, not mine – I’m not a fan of Keira Knightley)

- The Missing (first movie Chris and I saw together)

- The Andy Griffith Show (yes, I’m a nerd)

- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (I actually have 2 copies of this, since my MIL gave me a complete Harry Potter DVD set for Christmas)

I’ve accumulated these movies over the years, most of them after Chris and I were married. I know some of them are odd – “Overboard”, “Harry and the Hendersons”, “The Andy Griffith Show”… I can’t help it! I’m a sucker for cheesy movies and old TV shows! At least it’s not as bad as this movie that Chris made me watch when we were dating. He’s lucky I married him 🙂
The Thomas Crown Affair and Down With Love are so good! I won them as well 🙂
Swwet Home Alabama and seasons of friends are great movies to be able to watch any day 🙂

Oh my god, HARRY AND THE HENDERSONS. I’ve been dying to watch that movie, I love it. I also used to watch Sound of Music (on 2 VHSes back in the day!) every single day in kindergarten. I own probably half of these movies also, I have a soft spot for cheesiness as well.
Moulin Rouge is in my top five as well, along with Forrest Gump. And I LOVE Harry and the Hendersons…I always cry at the end!
I'm the same way… I have TONS of movies of ALL sorts… love a cheesy, comedy, romance! I too have "Overboard"… & Moulin Rouge is one of my top five favorites!!!
